Liberty Fox is in the second phase of development for a comprehensive and intuitive sales management platform for Pentec Health. Leveraging the assets of its previous engagements with Pentec, our team in currently in the process of building a one-stop-shop for deep analytics into the referral process, e-signatures and sales analytical data with in-depth management performance data delivered on a mobile platform.


The challenge

Pentec approached us with a new challenge. Their sales representatives needed a new and mobile way to access vast amounts of analytical data from their fingertips while attempting to fashion new relationships with their prospects to provide their industry-leading dialysis solutions. Their sales representatives had previously worked largely independently; each with their own methodology of the sales process and how to leverage the data that was provided to them via the other two solutions. The problem was that from an upper-management position, there was little-to-no real-time insight into the sales process and the state of a prospective account. Additionally, when a sales resource was no longer available (due to vacation or various other reasons) there was little to no information available to the next resource that would inherit their accounts.

Liberty Fox presented Pentec with an intuitive and easy-to-use platform for their sales representatives to leverage their tools without having to break out of the methodology that has worked for them. By not forcing them to conform to an off-the-shelf CRM solution, we were able to provide them with the data they needed without interrupting what they do best. By building a solution around their workflow, we were able to enhance their capabilities without slowing them down by a large, clunky enterprise solution. Now, the sales representatives are able to schedule follow-up conversations, track the referral process, inquire about e-signature status, and access relevant marketing materials. In addition, they will be able to leverage complex trip-planning algorithms to plan out the most effective sales trip plan and track their status and completion level. All of this information is also available to upper-management mitigating the need for constant updates and unnecessary catch-up meetings.

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY WEBSITE

Lincoln University has an aging website that is in need of some updating and mobile-friendly considerations. Paskill’s Team in conjunction with Liberty Fox intends to exceed their expectations by delivering quality above and beyond their requirements while remaining conscience of their budget constraints and business needs.


The Challenge

After a successful turnaround on a previous engagement, Paskill again approached Liberty Fox with a need. Lincoln University’s website needed a facelift and updated functionality while staying within an academic budget and reasonable time constraints. In addition, they needed a simpler content management system allowing non IT professionals to be able to update and modify the website freely without concern of breaking pages or damaging user experience.

Richard Murphy approached Liberty Fox in need. Their company desperately needed to launch into the 21st century and enter the digital world. Having previously been working completely from referrals and word-of-mouth, the company needed a new avenue to attract potential business. Being a fellow member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Liberty Fox decided to use this need as a training opportunity for one of its newest development resources while providing a fellow contributor with the opportunity to increase sales and give back to a great cause. BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA – TROOP 290 – PHILADELPHIA, PA

Having previously been a boy scout himself, Bill Evans felt compelled to provide Troop 290 with a much-needed face-lift. Their previous website left much to be desired and was built with static pages. There was no easy way for a troop leader to post important information or update upcoming events. It was a drawn out and tedious process that pulled them away from the more important duties like coordinating the troop. Often, this lead to the site rarely being updated and infrequently visited by troop members. Some of the members had been actively using Facebook for troop communication, but this lead to communication breakdown and an unorganized cluster of information spread across group and individual news feeds. Additionally, BSA regulations have strong rules about Microsoft Developmentcommunication policies, leading to many very useful and necessary forms, applications and details not being posted at all. Liberty Fox’s team came to the rescue. We redesigned their website from the ground up, embracing the excitement and joy they the organization has to offer. We provided an intuitive way to update forms, upcoming events and manage news articles. Additionally, we crafted a form to inquire about becoming a scout in the organization while offering a “meet the staff” module to offer parents the insight into short bios about their children’s supervisors. Overall, this was a very rewarding experience for Liberty Fox and we are happy to have been a part of it.

MAINTENANCE REQUISITION SYSTEM

Liberty Fox delivered a simple and easy-to-use maintenance requisition system for Jeanes hospital to replace their aging UNIX platform. Learning their business needs and crafting a system around their existing workflow, we were able to simplify their paper process while providing their staff with a much more feature-rich application.


The Challenge

Jeanes approached Liberty Fox with an interesting concern. For years they had been using a UNIX terminal platform for a variety of systems throughout the hospital. The support for this system was coming to an end meaning that the functionality had to be replaced. They had a relationship with another vendor to provide the majority of the support they needed with one major caveat; the new software solution did not include any modules for handling maintenance requests. Considering that the hospital processed almost one hundred requests a day at times, this was a huge concern. Simply calling down to the maintenance office would prove to be a tracking and communication nightmare. Additionally, the maintenance team did not want their process interrupted by a new and clunky system. They preferred their requests to still come through their printer so that they can grab their clipboard & tool belt and head out to start their day. How can we provide the maintenance administration with the tracking information that they need while still providing the team with the paper workflow that they want?


Our Solution

Liberty Fox stepped in and helped Andy and his team bring their needs to fruition. Instead of implementing a bulky enterprise ticket tracking system and making costly custom modifications, we built a much simpler solution around their workflow. We met with the maintenance staff and learned their pain-points from the previous system while demonstrating a few enterprise solutions that exist in the industry to receive feedback on desired features for the new system. Our team created a new stream-lined ticket tracking system with simplified email notifications and printer management functionality. Additionally, we created a simple ticket request workflow that would walk a user through the process and validate their input providing real-time feedback. Once the new system was deployed, the adoption rate across the entire hospital staff was nearly instantaneous (preferring the new system over the predecessor). Maintenance administration had clear insight into the number of open tickets and staff members were notified when their request was fulfilled (functionality previously non-existent).

Liberty Fox was approached about a project in chaos. The previous development resource had been removed from the project and there was a serious concern about the project’s completion relevant to its expected deadline. Our response? “No problem!” Our team was able to quickly pick up where the previous resource had left off and deliver a high-caliber product.


The Challenge

With the previous resource inaccessible and a deadline fast approaching, our team was posed with a serious concern, “Can we complete this project within the required timeframe?” There was no documentation in the previous code and incomplete implementation of many features that the client had requested. In addition, the scope of work had changed but the deadline had not. The project was in crunch-time.

 

 


Our Solution

We were able to provide the Paskill team with a revised, accurate assessment of the current state of the project and presented a realistic estimate of its completion. Leveraging this knowledge, Paskill and Liberty Fox agreed on a scope of work that could be completed within the designated timeframe and budget provided. In totality, PCOM’s website was completed reasonably close to the original budget estimate with a higher level of functionality than originally planned. In addition, our staff continued to work hand-in-hand with the Paskill team to ensure sufficient knowledge transfer of how to administrate the new system and provide support to their client’s personnel.

Liberty Fox delivered a comprehensive and multi-dimensional Business Intelligence platform for deep problem, opportunity, and trend analysis, generating profit and patient care improvement opportunities from deep access to Pentec’s entire “order to cash” and “patient outcomes” data points.


 The Challenge

Pentec Health approached Liberty Fox with a concerning issue arising within their sales process. They had an immense amount of analytical information in their industry provided by a 3rd party vendor, but they had no realistic way to ingest and leverage the data. Simply creating a report that would be useful to the team almost always involved the database administrator and typically had a slow turn-around time. Additionally, this information wasn’t paired up with their internal database and there was no way to “link” the analytics to their current customers. They needed this information in a much more flexible way and in a semi-real-time fashion.

 


Our Solution

We were able to analyze their issues and pain-points while offering proactive suggestions to alleviate these issues. Liberty Fox created a cutting-edge “fuzzy matching” solution that allowed Pentec’s team to properly match the analytical data to their current accounts and gain deep insight into their processes. In addition, leveraging the now useful data, we were able to provide a rich mapping application that would provide an even more detailed analysis of their processes and business intelligence plotted on a national map. Liberty Fox helped Tim and his team champion the transformation to “best-of-breed” “end-to-end” EMR and Revenue Cycle Management information solutions model, reflecting a combination of commercial and proprietary solutions that closed end to end processing gaps and improved overall operating leverage. By implementing cutting-edge e-signature functionality and workflow processing, Liberty Fox was able to streamline Pentec’s referral process and help to increase patient care by a multitude.


The Challenge

We were again approached by Pentec Health with a new challenge. In their patient referral process, there were some significant stop-gaps causing the referral process to be delayed and communication to fall short on many fronts. Due to an overwhelming surge of new patient referrals, their intake staff was getting overwhelmed in keeping track of the state of each. Pentec needed a new solution that could digitize the process of papers, pens and post-it notes into something more reflective of their industry-leading business model.

Sitting along-side their team members, we were able to experience their daily routines ourselves to gain invaluable insight into what solution would help launch them into the next phase that they so desperately needed. Liberty Fox created an industry-leading workflow portal that provides Pentec’s team members with deep insight into the state of each referral and what aspects of the current step still need to be completed to move the referral into the next stage of the process. In addition, we were able to leverage e-signature utilities for physician documents to significantly reduce the amount of paper being pushed through the fax machine. For those who still preferred fax, we integrated an electronic faxing solution so that on Pentec’s side paper was almost eliminated entirely. This new portal implements an intuitive and straightforward intake process that relieves the team of costly, repetitive tasks and allows them to focus on what really matters… their patients.
